This efficient mountain contemporary home is designed to eliminate snow shed issues. The carefully placed windows take advantage of views of Northstar, Squaw and solar gain. The 2,472 square feet provide 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and an open flex space. It was built by Jeremy Purdy Cosntruction.
The "Hermitage at Grand E Camp", tucked into the forest in Martis Camp tells the story of a hermit building his camp slowly over time. The graceful and intentionally imperfect structure reflects a solitary and creative process. The rustic and reclaimed materials display the additive construction process. This 2,032 square foot guest wing provides a large great room, 2 bedrooms with lofts and 1.5 baths. It was built by Stuart Spear Construction and the reclaimed wood was supplied by MJ White.
This mountain contemporary home is pleasantly secluded in the woods of Martis Camp. It was designed with an emphasis on light, layout and landscape. Granite and cedar siding clads a rustic but contemporary stone and wood interior that brings the outside in. The compact 2,750 square feet provide 2 suites, a third bedroom and a bunk room. Passive solar design and active solar systems heat and power this nearly off-the-grid utilitarian home. Valley views are captured while the house is warmed by the morning sun. The 3,531 square feet provide 4 bedrooms, an office, 3.5 baths and a loft rec room. It was built by Big John Craik.

No expense was spared in the design and construction of this French chateau mansion. Custom, structural arched heavy timber trusses give the home a local, mountain feel. The 8,077 square feet provide a rec room, theater, solarium, 8 bedrooms, 6 of which are suites, and a guest lounge. It was built by Cecil Koupal of Giant Big Construction and the heavy timber trusses were built by Robert Morken Construction.

This Tuscan villa backs to the Arrowcreek golf course south of Reno and captures views of the foothills over the fairway.
